ST Rosyam Mart hosts media tour at new Jakel Square outlet, awards RM10,000 to content creator winner
ST Rosyam Mart, Malaysia’s leading 24-hour wholesale supermarket, celebrated the opening of its newest Jakel Square outlet with an exclusive media tour and prize-giving ceremony for its viral content creation contest.
The inaugural Media Supermarket Tour showcased the 50,000-square-foot outlet, which officially opened on December 17, 2025, featuring innovative sections including the first-ever ‘Malaysia Selection’ area dedicated to locally-made products.
A New Standard in Wholesale Shopping
The Jakel Square location represents ST Rosyam Mart’s ninth supermarket and second outlet in the capital. The store introduces several first-to-market features designed to enhance the shopping experience for both Malaysians and tourists.

The outlet features dedicated sections for fresh produce, frozen and meat products, household essentials, and celebrity-branded items. Additional amenities include a café, self-checkout counters, and a customer service zone, all supporting the brand’s promise: “Berbelanja di ST Rosyam Mart, Dompet Abang Selamat” (Shop at ST Rosyam Mart, Your Wallet is Safe).
Celebrating Local Content Creators
The event culminated in the Misi Mencari Raja Konten Prize Giving Ceremony, recognizing winners of the content creation competition launched alongside the store opening. Participants created one-minute videos showcasing various aspects of the new outlet.
Muhamad Suhaimi Mohamad Kabid, a 32-year-old content creator from Kuala Lumpur, took home the grand prize of RM10,000. He described the challenge of filming in a crowded venue and editing late into the night, dedicating his victory to his wife for her support.
Five additional winners each received RM2,000 across categories including Most Likes, Most Engagement, Most Entertaining, Most Creative Editing, and Best Educational Content.
