Geohan wins RM32.2m in new Sunway jobs, strengthens FY26 order book

KUALA LUMPUR: Geohan Corporation Bhd, an established foundation and geotechnical specialist, has accepted two separate letters of award (LoA) from subsidiaries of Sunway Group, with a combined contract value of RM32.2 million.

Subsequent to the successful securing of the Astaka Arden Residence and Causewayz Square @ JBCC projects in FY25, this marks Geohan’s latest—and first in FY26—strategic expansion into Johor, positioning the group to capitalise on the region’s accelerating development momentum and emerging opportunities.

The first LoA was secured from Sunway Majestic Sdn Bhd, covering piling and contiguous bored-piling retaining wall works for a 46-storey SOHO development in Johor Bahru, Johor.

Construction works are scheduled to commence in February 2026 and are expected to be completed within 9 months from the date of commencement.

The second LoA was awarded by Sunway City (JB) Sdn Bhd, which covers bored piling
works for 3 blocks of 47-storey serviced apartments in Plentong, Johor.

Construction work is also scheduled to begin in February 2026 and is expected to be completed within 8 months of the start date.

Geohan managing director Lee Kim Seng said the company is truly grateful to Sunway Group, its long-standing customer for almost 20 years, for awarding these projects.

“This is a strong endorsement of the quality and reliability of our piling works. These projects further strengthen our order book and project pipeline for FY26.

“We remain fully focused on delivering these projects to the highest standards as part of our commitment to sustainable growth and long-term value creation for our shareholders,” he said in a statement.
