LaLaport BBCC ushers in Chinese New Year (CNY) with Gallop into Fortune, a seasonal campaign that blends tradition, family-friendly activities and rewarding shopping moments.

Shoppers who spend RM300 and above in a maximum of two combined same-day receipts can redeem an Everyday Bag along with LaLaport red packets. A higher spend of RM1,000 unlocks a rotating serving set paired with LaLaport x Kantin Lab chips, while those reaching RM2,000 can redeem a 20-inch travel luggage with red packets.
Each receipt is applicable for one redemption per day per campaign, allowing shoppers to choose which tier suits their visit. The structure keeps things straightforward, whether you are dropping by for essentials or planning a longer browse.
Reason to spend a little longer
For those who enjoy an added incentive, Gallop into Fortune also introduces a top spender element. Shoppers stand a chance to win a pair of tickets to the KL Tower Sky Terrace and Observation Deck, adding a light sense of anticipation to the festive shopping routine.
Beyond spending, the campaign encourages visitors to explore the mall through its Scan & Win activity.
By locating and scanning five QR stamps placed around LaLaport BBCC, participants can redeem an RM50 e-voucher.
Participation requires registering on the Mitsui Shopping Park (MSP)MY app, accessing the Scan & Win section and scanning the QR codes using the in-app scanner. The reward appears under “My Voucher” once completed, with redemptions available while stocks last.
Selected outlets at Level 3 also offer limited-time e-vouchers across categories such as food and beverage, fashion, kids and maternity, as well as home and furniture. Additional MSP app perks include RM10 off with a minimum spend of RM200 and RM30 off with a minimum spend of RM500, alongside a RM200 home and lifestyle e-voucher.

Cultural performances bring moments of movement and sound to the Main Atrium on the Ground Floor.
Acrobatic lion dance showcases take place on selected dates across January and February, joined by abundance dances, Chinese drum performances and God of Prosperity walkabouts that move through the space rather than staying fixed on a stage.
China doll dance performances add a softer visual element, creating pockets of festivity that feel approachable for families and casual visitors alike.
Spotlight on World Dragon and Lion Dance Extravaganza
One of the key highlights is the World Dragon and Lion Dance Extravaganza (WDLDE), which brings competitive and showcase elements into the programme.
Following the Professional Junior Lion Dance Competition, the National Acrobatic Lion Dance Champions Competition and A Young Lion Dancer Family Trip organised at the mall, the WDLDE finale will be held on Feb 1, where performances take centre stage once more.
Creative workshops for younger visitors
Every Saturday until Feb 21, the ground floor walkway transforms into a casual workshop space for children.
The Majestic Lion and Dragon CNY pop-up workshops invite kids to create their own lion or dragon head craft, paired with a kiddie train ride at Toy World and complimentary Beryl’s chocolate chip cookies.

WT+ is located near Converse, while Babyshop and Eighteen Fashion occupy the main atrium on the ground floor, rounding up the retail mix during the campaign period.
