Pemandu pacuan empat roda tular himpit kenderaan beri alasan ibu terjatuh

KLANG: Pemandu kenderaan pacuan empat roda yang tular kerana menghimpit dan mengancam pengguna lain di Lebuhraya Pintas Selat Klang Utara pada Khamis lepas mendakwa terpaksa bertindak sedemikian kerana ingin membantu ibunya yang cedera akibat terjatuh.

Ketua Polis Daerah Klang Utara ACP S. Vijaya Rao berkata lelaki berusia 29 tahun itu membuat laporan di Bahagian Trafik Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Klang Utara dengan ditemani peguam pada kira-kira 10 malam tadi.

“Berdasarkan keterangan, ketika kejadian suspek mahu ke rumah ibunya kerana ingin membawa wanita itu ke hospital,“ menurutnya dalam kenyataan hari ini.

Beliau berkata lelaki itu didapati negatif dadah dan dilepaskan dengan jaminan polis pada 3 pagi tadi. Kes diklasifikasikan semula mengikut Seksyen 42(1) Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987.

Semalam, media melaporkan polis sedang mengesan pemandu kenderaan pacuan empat roda yang menghimpit dan mengancam pengguna lain di lebuh raya itu menghala ke Lebuhraya Persekutuan.

Insiden berhampiran sebuah pusat beli-belah di Bukit Raja itu tular menerusi video rakaman kamera papan pemuka yang memaparkan kenderaan tersebut cuba menyelit semasa lalu lintas sesak. – Bernama
