13 individu ditahan kerana berhimpun haram di luar Istana Negeri Kelantan

KOTA BHARU: Siasatan polis mendedahkan 13 individu yang berhimpun secara haram di luar Istana Negeri Kubang Kerian bertujuan menyerahkan barangan lama kepada pihak istana.

Ketua Polis Kelantan Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat berkata maklumat mengenai perhimpunan itu diterima pada pukul 11.40 pagi Selasa lepas.

Balai Polis Kubang Kerian yang memaklumkan mengenai kehadiran kumpulan berkenaan di lokasi tersebut.

Kesemua 13 individu berusia antara 26 hingga 67 tahun telah dibawa ke Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Kota Bharu untuk membantu siasatan.

“Hasil ujian saringan air kencing yang dijalankan mendapati lima daripada mereka positif dadah,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.

Kes ini disiasat di bawah Seksyen 143 Kanun Keseksaan serta Seksyen 7(1) Akta Bahan Kakisan, Letupan dan Senjata Berbahaya 1958.

Siasatan lanjut masih diteruskan bagi kes berkenaan.

Semua tertuduh telah direman selama empat hari bermula semalam bagi membantu siasatan kes tersebut. – Bernama
