Ziarah Kasih builds bonds of care and community, says Fahmi

Fahmi Fadzil says Ziarah Kasih outreach programmes remind Malaysians to support those facing life challenges and strengthen community ties.

KUALA LUMPUR: Community outreach programes like Ziarah Kasih serve as a constant reminder that amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life, there are still individuals facing various life challenges who require the community’s attention, support, and care, said Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.

In a Facebook post, he said that every visit conducted opens up opportunities to get closer to those in need, while also understanding the realities of the lives they face.

“Today, I managed to visit several residents in Kampung Pasir Baru and Taman Seri Sentosa during the Ziarah Kasih programme. Among those I had the opportunity to spend time with were Md Fozi Abdullah, Chan Peng Keong, and Evangelin Miranda.

“Hopefully, this brief presence and attention brings meaning, while further strengthening the bonds between us,” he said.

In the same post, he also prayed that they continue to be given strength, have their affairs eased, and be blessed with better health.
