KUALA LUMPUR: Road safety during monsoon season and floating school implementation top today’s Dewan Rakyat agenda.

According to the Order Paper, Mohd Azizi Abu Naim will question the Works Minister about federal road and slope safety throughout the monsoon period.

S. Kesavan will ask the Education Minister about floating school initiatives in Hulu Perak and future expansion plans.

Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein will inquire about measures addressing essential medicine shortages and price hikes.

He also seeks clarification on long-term strategies to reduce import dependency through local pharmaceutical production.

He wants to know if the ministry plans to increase penalties for national symbol offences.

Dr Mohammed Taufiq Johari will ask the Transport Minister about non-operational MAS aircraft due to damage and associated costs.

He also inquires whether Malaysia has sufficient local aircraft engineers for maintenance works.

The sitting will continue with committee-stage debate on the Supply Bill 2026.

This Third Meeting of the Fourth Session runs for 35 days until December 4. – Bernama
