A total of 200 motorcyclists in Renggam received RM5 fuel vouchers to help ease their daily financial burden from the government
KLUANG: A total of 200 motorcyclists in Renggam received RM5 fuel vouchers today to help alleviate their daily financial burden.
Political secretary to the Communications Minister Abdullah Izhar Mohamed Yusof said the initiative by the National Security Council (MKN) reflects the government’s concern for the well-being of the people while strengthening the spirit of unity.
“This programme will be held regularly as one of our initiatives to engage with the people at the grassroots level,” he told Bernama at the Jiwa@Komuniti MADANI Sembang Santai World Cup Edition programme here today.
In addition to the voucher distribution, the programme featured a briefing on current issues and a dialogue session with the local community, involving representatives from MKN, the Information Department (JaPen) and the Department of Community Communications (J-KOM).
According to Abdullah Izhar, the programme offered the community access to accurate and authentic information on government policies and initiatives, while allowing them to voice their views and suggestions on local issues.
He said such outreach programmes serve as an important platform for strengthening ties between the government and the people through effective communication and the dissemination of accurate information.
“We will continue to strengthen our outreach efforts nationwide to ensure that all segments of society have access to authentic information, understand government policies and benefit from the various initiatives being implemented,” he said.
A voucher recipient, M. Raja, 56, from Taman Sri Jaya, expressed his gratitude and hoped that such initiatives would continue and be enhanced in the future.
“It would be great if I could get it every month, but whatever it is, I am truly grateful,” said the father of five.
Hee Eeck Kwe, 66, from Kampung Baru, said he was thankful as the government had ensured that rural communities were not left out in various assistance initiatives.
