Malaysia seeks stronger collaboration with SAP on digital transformation

Malaysia aims to boost digital adoption and talent development through enhanced collaboration with global tech leader SAP, says PM Anwar

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia aims to strengthen the adoption of digital technology, enhance the efficiency of the public and private sectors, and produce more highly skilled talent, particularly among youths and future graduates, said Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

In a Facebook post, the Prime Minister said the commitment was reaffirmed during a courtesy call by SAP President of Global Customer Success for Europe, Asia-Pacific (APAC), the Middle East and Africa, Emanuele (Manos) Raptopoulos, at Parliament today.

He discussed potential collaboration with Raptopoulos, representing SAP, a global leader in enterprise applications and artificial intelligence (AI), and a strategic partner in driving digital transformation and talent development in Malaysia.

“I believe that strategic collaboration between the government and global technology companies such as SAP can accelerate the nation’s digital transformation agenda, while generating more sustainable and competitive economic growth,” he said.
