Polis KL akan teliti SOP serbuan ke atas kelab kesihatan selepas kelemahan dikenal pasti dalam operasi tangkap aktiviti songsang di Chow Kit

KUALA LUMPUR: Polis Kuala Lumpur akan meneliti semula prosedur operasi standard (SOP) serbuan ke atas kelab kesihatan yang menjalankan aktiviti tidak bermoral.

Ketua Polis Kuala Lumpur Datuk Fadil Marsus berkata beberapa kelemahan dikenal pasti dalam serbuan terkini ke atas sebuah kelab kesihatan yang dipercayai menjadi lokasi aktiviti songsang.

Beliau berkata penambahbaikan SOP diperlukan agar bukti yang dikumpulkan tidak tercicir dan siasatan dapat diteruskan.

“Kami tidak mahu serbuan dan tangkapan dibuat tetapi akhirnya ada bukti yang tidak dapat diterima,” katanya selepas majlis penyerahan sumbangan di sini.

Fadil menekankan bahawa setiap kesalahan mempunyai asas dan keperluan bukti tertentu untuk dibuktikan di mahkamah.

Polis kini bekerjasama dengan pihak berkuasa tempatan dan jabatan agama bagi memastikan premis terbabit tidak beroperasi semula.

Pada Jumaat lepas, seramai 208 individu termasuk 17 penjawat awam ditahan dalam serbuan di sebuah kelab kesihatan di Chow Kit.

Polis merampas kondom dan beberapa peralatan lain dipercayai digunakan untuk tujuan tidak bermoral dalam operasi tersebut.

Premis dua tingkat itu dilaporkan beroperasi sejak lapan hingga 10 bulan lepas.

Kelab tersebut dibuka dari pukul 5 petang hingga 11 malam pada hari bekerja dan dari 3 petang hingga 11 malam pada hujung minggu. – Bernama
