Visit Malaysia 2026 booth a hit at Putrajaya’s Rancakkan MADANI event

The Visit Malaysia 2026 booth draws crowds with cultural demos, VR experiences and travel deals at the Rancakkan MADANI programme in Putrajaya

PUTRAJAYA: The Visit Malaysia 2026 booth at the Rancakkan MADANI programme continues to attract large crowds with a range of interactive activities and promotions.

Showcasing agencies under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, the booth features cultural performances, archaeological demonstrations and heritage food distribution.

It also hosts batik colouring, roti canai tossing and teh tarik competitions for visitors.

Tourism Malaysia senior tourism officer Mizan Rodzi said nearly all activities received positive feedback from participating visitors.

“In conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2026, we are offering a variety of activities to highlight the country’s heritage and uniqueness,” he told Bernama.

He added that visitor numbers had nearly doubled from the previous day due to the booth’s location next to the main stage.

Several exhibitors are offering discounts of up to 30% on selected travel packages to destinations like Sabah and Dabong.

Discounts are also available for theme park tickets including those for SplashMania.

Other attractions include pin-making, caricature art, a tourism quiz and busker performances featuring traditional instruments.

Visitors can enjoy interactive experiences through the Megawire game and Virtual Reality demonstrations themed around Experiential Tourism.

The Department of Culture and Arts Malaysia is also presenting a VR Wayang Kulit experience.

The three-day Rancakkan MADANI programme features over 300 public service offerings and a career carnival.

It also includes interactive exhibitions, family entertainment and a wide range of special promotions.

The national-scale programme is organised by the Prime Minister’s Office through the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit.

It is targeting 300,000 visitors and runs until Sunday. – Bernama
