MOTAC revokes licence of tour operator Winborneo Leisure Tour

The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has revoked the licence of Winborneo Leisure Tour Sdn Bhd for violating industry regulations.

PUTRAJAYA: The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has revoked the licence of Winborneo Leisure Tour Sdn Bhd.

The revocation, effective from yesterday, was enacted by the Tourism Commissioner under Section 8 of the Tourism Industry Act 1992.

MOTAC stated it takes violations by licensed tourism operators seriously to protect public welfare.

“The Ministry takes any violation of legal provisions by licensed tourism operators seriously, to safeguard the welfare and interests of the people of MADANI Malaysia,” the statement read.
