M'sian auxiliary police officer found dead in Changi Airport

    PETALING JAYA: A Malaysian auxiliary police officer was found dead in Changi Airport, Singapore, over the weekend.
    Certis Cisco officer Lance Coporal Mohana Singam was found in a cubicle toilet in the airport at about 10.50am on Saturday morning, Oct 3, with a single gun shot wound to the head, according to Singapore media.
    It was reported that Singapore Civil Defence Force paramedics responding to the call for an ambulance pronounced the 34-year old officer dead at the scene.
    Singapore police was reported saying that while Mohana's service revolver was found beside him, no foul play is suspected and investigations are ongoing.
    Certis Cisco deputy assistant commissioner Chua Chuan Seng said in a statement that Mohana, who had worked with the company for seven years, was on duty during the incident.
    "We will assist the family in every possible way and extend our cooperation in the police investigations," said Chua.
