Thirst 2015 cancelled

PETALING JAYA: Heineken's Thirst 2015: We Are All Stardust scheduled to take place tonight at the Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC) has been canceled after the sudden revocation of several necessary permits by authorities.
Future Sound Asia said all necessary permits had been obtained for the festival but they were informed that some of permits were revoked late today afternoon.
"We have worked tirelessly through the night and all morning to resolve these issues, unfortunately our attempts have been unsuccessful.
"It is particularly disappointing for us as we have worked very closely with all the relevant government bodies and agencies to ensure that all regulatory requirements were met on time and in full," the organiser said in a statement.
The organiser said the cancellation will have huge financial implications to the company and will greatly disappoint fans who traveled long distances to attend the festival.
They added they are currently working on a ticket refunding process for those who bought tickets and should be able to share more details within the next three days.
