Wan Azizah clear on stand against GST

PERMATANG PAUH: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail insisted that she is crystal clear on her stand against the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
She said there was no doubt that the newly implemented tax regime had affected the people in the country.
She pointed out that former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had also voiced his displeasure with the new tax.
“The poor will bear an additional burden with GST,” she said in a press conference after a walkabout in Penanti here today.
She was accompanied by PKR strategy chief and Bayan Baru MP Sim Tze Tzin and Bukit Mertajam and DAP by-election director Steven Sim.
