KUALA LUMPUR: Opposition leader Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail seemed to have rallied the crowd in Sogo by giving a short, spirited speech to get them going, just moments before they make a move to converge in Dataran Merdeka.
In her less than three minutes talk to Bersih 4 protesters, the PKR president said the spirit that the rally goers has shown in coming down in their thousands proved that the opposition has the upper hand against the government.
"They banned us from wearing yellow and anything with the words 'Bersih', but the rakyat are still brave enough to do so today.
"This is the spirit of Malaysia. We will win, and we will free (Datuk Seri) Anwar Ibrahim," she said to the cheer of the crowd.
