Klia2 maintenance plan on track

KUALA LUMPUR: The implementation of the grouting injection method for the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) maintenance programme has been successfully completed at 10 locations.
"This marks 26% completion from the overall klia2 maintenance plan for routing injection works scheduled in 2016.
"We have also completed four locations on the parking apron in February, out of 39 locations. This leaves us with 29 locations including four on the taxiway," said Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) said in its report on the maintenance progress at klia2 today.
MAHB said the new maintenance method has resulted in significant improvement in sudden depression incidents and had reduced the occurrence of ponding at klia2.
"We will continue to work closely with all stakeholders to ensure all parties are constantly engaged in operational issues and ensure safety airport operations," it added. — Bernama
