Pay your Uber rides in Cash!

PETALING JAYA: Klang Valley Uber fans can now pay for their Uber rides via cash!
Uber Asia Pacific communications director Amy Kunrojpanya revealed that the added features will eliminate the fear factor for first time riders who are afraid to use their credit card for online or mobile transactions.
"Credit cards are a common way to pay but many Malaysians still prefer transacting in cash so by rolling out this cash payment option in Klang Valley, we are hoping to provide Malaysians more choice and a payment option that suits their needs.
"At the same time, this added option also opens doors for more KL-ites to take their first ride and eventually having a quality experience with Uber," she said in a statement.
For one to pay their rides in cash, all they need to do is go to the 'Payment' section in the Uber application and select 'Cash' as their payment option. Once you have reached your destination, just pay the fare (exact change or round up to the nearest ringgit) directly in cash to the Uber driver.
Kunrojpanya, however, said that the cash option is still an open-ended experiment so not all will see this additional payment option right away.
