KUALA LUMPUR: Some 30 Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) personnel staged a protest outside Parliament today to object against the decision to shift the current Industrial court complex located in the city to another location in Ampang.
MTUC acting president Abdullah Abdul Hamid said they marched from the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex to hand over the memorandum to a representative from the Ministry of Human Resources.
"With the new location suggested by the government at Wisma Perkeson in Jalan Tun Razak, it would be difficult for the employees to get any public transport," he said when met outside of Parliament today.
"In view of this, we suggest that they either let us remain at the current location or shift us to the Dayabumi building in the city or the Bank Rakyat building in Brickfields," he added.
