NIBONG TEBAL: DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng (pix) is confident that Sabah DAP will resolve the party's internal problems following the resignation of several opposition assemblymen in the state.
Responding on the issue, Lim, who is Penang chief minister, said he is waiting for a report from the DAP in Sabah.
"I will give further comments on the matter after receiving the report from the DAP in Sabah," he told reporters after officiating the multipurpose hall of the Village Security and Development Committees (JKKK) Jawi in Perkampungan Jawi, Lorong 2, Sungai Jawi here today.
On Sunday, DAP’s Likas assemblyman Junz Wong, together with PKR’s Klias assemblyman Datuk Lajim Ukin and Moyog assemblyman Terrence Siambun, resigned from their respective parties.
DAP's national vice-chairman Tan Kok Wai said Wong’s move was a “betrayal" to DAP and the people of Likas.
