Hence, school leavers who would like to further their studies can consider DISTED’s diploma programmes since it covers a wide range of fields. All the programmes are recognised and accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA ).
From the seven diploma programmes offered, six of them come with dual award certification. As such, in addition to a DISTED diploma, students who fulfil all graduation requirements will also be awarded a BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) by Pearson, the world’s leading education company and the largest awarding organisation in the UK.
The BTEC (Business and Technology Education Council) is a work-related qualification that places emphasis on assignments, projects and practical learning; and is globally recognised in both the education and corporate sectors.
The six diploma programmes which come with dual award certification include Diploma in Business Studies, Diploma in Accounting, Diploma in Hospitality Business Management, Diploma in Computer Science, Diploma in Business Information Technology and Diploma in Creative Multimedia Production.
Students who are keen to pursue a career path in psychology can consider pursuing the Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) degree programme at Disted as well. Offered in collaboration with HELP University, the programme accords students with broad-based knowledge and transferable skills that are essential in psychology professions.
