REMEMBER the nostalgic yet fun arcade games like Pac-Man and Space Invaders? Anya Hindmarch is merging these 8-bit games in its Autumn/Winter 2016 collection.
The collection examines the pixelation and colour by combining the nostalgia of familiar computer games with impeccable craftsmanship by combining various shades of cobalt blues, burgundy reds, yellow, white and orange alongside rich leathers and fur embellishments.
The collection showcases innovative marquetry techniques on seasonal favourites such as the Ebury and Ephson shoulder plus the new Vere and Orsett.
The newest addition to the collection, the Vere, is a structured pared back satchel in fine silk calf leather, with an organised interior made up of labelled compartments for which Anya is known.
Another new style for AW16 is the Orsett, a relaxed long tote with a luggage handle, which can be converted into a hobo using the shoulder strap.
