GEORGE TOWN: A RTM cameraman who was injured during a shooting rampage on Dec 1 was readmitted to the Penang Hospital late Friday night.

The family of Mohamad Amirul Amin Mohd Amir, 28, took him to the hospital after he complained of severe pain in his hand.

When contacted, his father, Mohd Amir Abdul Salam, 62, said his son was in pain that night.
He said his son could not close his hand nor hold onto items due to being in great pain.

"His hand was also swollen," he told theSun but the cause for the pain has yet to be determined.

During the 7.30pm shooting incident early this month, three men were shot dead at the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu
Expressway.

One of them was businessman Datuk Ong Teik Kwang, 32, who was shot by his bodyguard.

Stray bullets hit and injured five others, including Amirul who was injured in the left shoulder, during the incident.

Police arrested the 38-year-old bodyguard at the scene and he has since been charged with murder, attempted murder and voluntarily causing hurt.
