Samsung launches the new Galaxy A series

PETALING JAYA: Samsung today introduced two new entry in their mid-range Galaxy A series. The 2017 version of the A series now features improved cameras, and dust and water resistance.
The Galaxy A5 features a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display, while the Galaxy A7 will sport a 5.7-inch display.
Both models are fitted with 16MP PDAF f1.9 camera, and 16MP front facing cameras. At the heart of each device is a 1.9GHz Octa-core processor that is backed with 3GB of memory and 32GB of expandable storage.
Both the Galaxy A7 and the Galaxy A5 are also IP68 for rated dust and water resistance which means that they can be submerged underwater at the depth of 1.5m for up to 30 minutes.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is set at RM1,899 while the Samsung Galaxy A5 is set at RM1,699.
The new Galaxy A Series (2017) can be pre-ordered at selected Samsung outlets from Jan 6 to 15. Each order will receive a complimentary Samsung Level U Pro wireless headphone worth RM399.
Those who pre-order will be able to collect their Galaxy A Series device from Jan 25 onwards.
