Protasco clinches RM90m Perak road maintenance deal

PETALING JAYA: Protasco Bhd has been awarded a contract worth RM90.1 million for the maintenance of agricultural roads in Perak.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia last Friday, the company said its subsidiary Empayar Indera Sdn Bhd was awarded the contract by the Perak government for routine and periodic maintenance works for agricultural roads.
The contract, which ends on Feb 19, 2019, is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings of the group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2017.
