Ahmad Jazlan in three-cornered fight for Machang parliamentary seat

MACHANG: Kelantan Umno deputy liaison chief Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub will face a three-cornered fight for the Machang parliamentary seat in the 14th General Election (GE14).
His competitors are Datuk Sazmi Miah (PKR-PPBM) and Zulkifli Mamat (PAS).
Their names were announced by Returning Officer Che Ramli Che Soh, who also announced a three-cornered fight among BN, PKR and PAS for the three state seats in the parliamentary constituency.
The state seats are Pulai Chondong, Temangan and Kemuning.
The contenders for the Pulai Chondong state are Ahmad Tarmizi Ismail (BN), Ab Halim @ Kamaruddin Ab Kadir (PKR-PPBM) and Azhar Salleh (PAS), while in Temanga, the contest is among Wan Mohd Adnan Wan Aziz (BN), Mohd Redzuan Alias (PKR) and Datuk Dr Mohamed Fadzli Hassan (PAS).
For the Kumuning state seat, BN candidate Eriandi Ismail (BN) will face Ab Kadir Othman (PKR-Amanah) and Mohd Roseli Ismail (PAS). — AFP
