American rock band Daughtry returns to give a concert in Kuala Lumpur

ONE OF the best advice given by Simon Cowell to a contestant on American Idol was telling Chris Daughtry (season five, 2006) was that he will do well as the frontman of a band.
Despite being offered to be the frontman of an already established band, Fuel, Daughtry set out to form his own band.
The hugely talented rocker who was surprisingly eliminated on the show did just that.
Daughtry (named after himself because it was recognisable after Idol) was created and their first self-titled album came out in Nov 2006.
First single It's Not Over was a huge success and three more albums later as well as hits songs Home, Feels Like Tonight and Backbone, Daughtry still remains one of the best rock bands in the business.
Frontman Chris himself has collaborated as diverse artists such as Timbaland, Vince Gill and Carlos Santana.
He has also kept himself in the limelight playing Judas Iscariot in the live television performance of The Passion in 2016.
He also fulfilled a lifelong dream by drawing the cover of a Batman comic which was rated as one of the top 25 covers of the year by BatmanNews.com.
This multi-platinum rock band will performe at concert organised by IMC Live Group Malaysia on July 13 at 8.30pm, at KL Live, Life Centre.
Daughtry will be performing in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand on their Asian tour. Tickets went on sale today.
Early birds are entitled to a special rate of RM 258 only, limited quantity and on first come first serve basis only.
Tickets are available at www.ticketcharge.com.my or you can call 03-9222 8811.
