Army field commander heads Kelantan honours list

KOTA BARU: Army Field Commander, West, Lt Gen Datuk Azizan Md Delin heads a list of 624 recipients of awards, medals, commendation letters and appointment as Justices of the Peace in conjunction with the 48th Birthday of the Sultan of Kelantan Sultan Muhammad V, who is also the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Kelantan Regent Dr Tengku Muhammad Faiz Petra Sultan Ismail Petra conferred the awards to all the recipients at an investiture at Istana Balai Besar here, today.
Azizan was the sole recipient of the Ahli Kehormat Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Kesatria Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa (SPKK) award which carries the title Datuk.
Three individuals were awarded the Ahli Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (SPSK) carrying the title of Datuk, namely Court of Appeal Judge Datuk Mohd Zawawi Salleh, Education Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Alias ??Ahmad and Kelantan State Finance officer Datuk Nik Kazim Nik Yusoff.
Universiti Putra Malaysia vice-chancellor Prof Dr Aini Ideris and Prime Minister's Department Research Division director-general Datuk Hasanah Ab Hamid were each awarded the Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DPMK), which also carries the title Datuk.
Three people were conferred the Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DJMK) award carrying the title Datuk, namely Deputy Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub, Gual Periuk assemblyman Mohamad Awang, and Ulama panel member in the Kelantan Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council, Wan Hassan Wan Muhammad.
JL99 Group executive chairman Datuk Lee Boon Kiat, Advocate and Solicitor Sunil Abraham, and businessman Tan Ah Chio were awarded the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DJMK) carrying the title Datuk.
Five recipients were awarded the Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Kesateria Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa (DPKK), also carrying the title of Datuk, led by Army Second Division Commander Maj Gen Datuk Mohd Ramli Jaafar, Rocket Artillery Brigade Commander Brig Jen Wee Han Siew, Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V's army escort, Brig Gen Mohd Zulkipli Mohd Zahir; Royal Malaysian Air Force escort Brig Gen Muhammad Tarminzi Mustapa, and Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) headquarters Assistant Chief of Staff (Administration Division) First Admiral Kamarulzaman Jusoh.
Meanwhile, 8th Infantry Brigade Commander Brig Gen Nazari Abd Hadi and RMN's escort to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, First Admiral Sharum Shaim was awarded the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Kesateria Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa (DPKK) which carries the title of Datuk.
Twelve individuals were conferred the Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (DPSK) award, namely Malaysian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Syed Md Hasrin Tengku Hussin @ Syed Hussin, Human Resources Ministry secretary-general Dr Mohd Gazali Abas, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment deputy secretary-general Datuk Suhaimi Mamat, Kelantan Federal Development Department director Yahya Mamat, South Kelantan Development Authority general manager Fazam Mat Lazim and Cardiothoracic Surgeon at the School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Prof Dr Mohamad Ziyadi Ghazali. — Bernama
