GREAT Eastern Life Assurance (Malaysia) Berhad, otherwise known as Great Eastern Life officially launched the opening of its new four-storey office building called Wisma Great Eastern, in Southkey Mosaic.
Located in an integrated township of a rapidly developing business centre in the bustling city of Johor Baru; the stylish RM38 million structure boasts 24,359 sf of space encompassing boutique work pods that are equipped with highspeed broadband facilities, a premier business lounge, training rooms, and a seminar hall huge enough to accommodate 600.
The formal opening ceremony gathered the firm’s VIPs, including Great Eastern Life and Great Eastern General Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad chairman Norman Ip; Great Eastern Life CEO Datuk Koh Yaw Hui; its board of directors and family of employees.
During the opening ceremony, Ip commented, “... we are well poised to better meet the needs of our customers and business partners, strengthening our commitment to a city we have served for over 50 years.”
While the new building is seen as an asset that affirms its commitment to its customers, its agency force and business partners, it also sets new standards in serving its stakeholders better, claimed Koh. “Wisma Great Eastern also provides a central touchpoint for Life insurance, General insurance, Family Takaful, Bancassurance and Group Insurance.
“We are confident that our business here will continue to expand as the city progresses, and we will scale greater heights of achievements,” added Koh, serious on advancing the firm’s business foothold in Johor Baru.
Great Eastern Life celebrates its 110th anniversary this year. One commitment that has underpinned its legacy of success is said to be its giving its best in everything it does.
“We will continue to pursue the highest levels of excellence and set new standards as we achieve greater success,” said Koh.
