Car driver killed in collision with express bus

JOHOR BARU: A man was killed when the car he was driving collided with an express bus at Km64.4 of the Senai-Desaru Expressway, near Kota Tinggi, here last night.
However, all the 30 passengers in the bus and its driver were not injured in the crash which occurred about 10.40pm.
Kota Tinggi district police chief Supt Ahsmon Bajah, when contacted today, identified the victim as Ong Zhao Tuang, 28, from Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan.
Ong sustained a serious head injury and died on the spot.
He said Ong, who was at the wheel of a Honda Civic car, was heading towards Bandar Penawar, Kota Tinggi, from Senai, collided with the express bus, which was coming from the opposite direction, while overtaking another vehicle. — Bernama
