Efforts to revive Terengganu's Knowledge Park producing results

BESUT: The Terengganu government and the Higher Education Ministry's efforts to revive the Knowledge Park located at Tembila, Besut here has resulted in the project taking off since hostels in the park would be restored for students of Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UnisZA) in Tembila Campus in Besut starting October.
Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh who is also Besut MP said the abandoned buildings were being renovated with KPT allocation to revive the RM300 million Knowledge Park after it remained abandoned since 2004.
"It is hoped KPT's effort will help to resolve the issue and get the international standard education centre off the ground and contribute to education development in the country," he said when met by Bernama recently.
Terengganu Mentri Besar, Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman is expected to officiate the hostels on Sept 5. — Bernama
