EPF emerges as substantial shareholder in AWC

    PETALING JAYA: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has emerged as a substantial shareholder in AWC Bhd with a 5.032% stake.
    AWC provides engineering services specialising in integrated facilities management, plumbing and rainwater harvesting, mechanical and electrical services as well as automated pneumatic waste collection systems.
    In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, AWC said EPF on Sep 13, 2017 bought 200,000 shares, bringing up its total direct shareholding in the company to 13.28 million shares or 5.032% stake.
    AWC closed unchanged at RM1, with some 1.05 million shares traded. It has a market capitalisation of RM262.7 million.
