Man dies in road barrier self accident

JOHOR BARU: An unemployed man perished when the car he was driving skidded and hit a road barrier of the Lima Kedai Plaza Toll at the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link (Linkedua) here last night.
Chong Yue Sheng, 26, who was trapped in the driver's seat, died on the spot due to severe head and body injuries.
Iskandar Puteri police chief ACP Nor Hashim Mohamed said the crash occurred at about 11.15pm when the victim was on the way to Senai from Gelang Patah.
"The victim, from Gelang Patah, was believed to have lost control of his Perodua Myvi before it spun and crashed into the concrete barrier," he said when contacted here today.
The body was sent to Temenggong Seri Maharaja Tun Ibrahim Hospital in Kulai. — Bernama
