PAS questions EC's motive for transferring voters in Kelantan constituencies

KUALA LUMPUR: PAS has questioned the Election Commission's (EC) motive for transferring voters in some state constituencies in Kelantan.
Its acting president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man (pix) also called on all PAS machinery in its 195 parliamentary constituencies to check on possible irregularities in the electoral roll.
He added that PAS intends to meet the EC concerning the ruling which barred the distribution of electoral rolls to political parties.
Also present was Kelantan state exco for Human Development, Education and Higher Education Fadzli Hassan.
"In Bukit Panau, Tanah Merah alone more than 1,000 voters moved in. A total of 700 have been transferred to my constituency," the Temangan state assemblyman added.
Earlier, Tuan Ibrahim chaired the PAS central committee meeting held at its headquarters here.
