Vertice wins Johor road job worth RM59m

PETALING JAYA: Vertice Bhd has been awarded a road construction contract worth RM59.13 million in Pengerang, Kota Tinggi, Johor.
The company told Bursa Malaysia that its wholly owned subsidiary Vertice Construction Sdn Bhd today accepted a sub-contract offer from Tulane Sdn Bhd pertaining to Package 20C4: Provision of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) for the interconnecting road from Rapid Site to JKR Road.
The construction period is about 14 months from yesterday to April 8, 2019.
Vertice expects the sub-contract to contribute positively towards its earnings and net tangible assets.
On Bursa Malaysia today, Vertice declined 1.1% to 88 sen on some 131,500 shares traded.
