Bukit Aman: Seludup diesel bersubsidi bernilai lebih RM15 juta, 12 lelaki ditahan

KUALA LUMPUR: Sindiket penyeludupan minyak diesel bersubsidi tumpas apabila polis menahan 12 lelaki dan merampas pelbagai barang termasuk 1.02 juta liter minyak diesel, yang dianggarkan bernilai RM15.18 juta di Klang, Selangor pada Selasa lepas.

Pengarah Jabatan Keselamatan Dalam Negeri dan Ketenteraman Awam Bukit Aman Datuk Seri Hazani Ghazali (gambar) berkata 10 warga asing dan dua lelaki tempatan itu, ditahan sepasukan polis daripada Wildlife Crime Bureau/ Perisikan Siasatan Khas (WCB/PSK).

Beliau berkata dalam operasi itu, polis turut merampas 18 buah lori tangki minyak, 16 buah tangki skid yang setiap satu dianggarkan mengandungi 2,000 hingga 114,640 liter minyak diesel, 14 buah pam minyak dan dua buah buku stok keluar masuk minyak diesel.

“Kes berkenaan disiasat di bawah Akta Kawalan Bekalan 1961,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.

Sementara itu, Hazani berkata bagi tempoh 1 hingga 10 Jan tahun ini, WCB/PSK telah melancarkan 13 serbuan dengan jumlah nilai rampasan dianggarkan bernilai lebih RM39.25 juta dan telah menahan seramai 40 individu.

Beliau berkata polis komited bekerjasama dengan Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Kos Sara Hidup, dalam memerangi penyelewengan barangan kawalan dan bersubsidi untuk memastikan hasil negara sentiasa dilindungi daripada ketirisan.
