LZS catat peningkatan ketara kutipan zakat melalui potongan gaji

LZS rekod peningkatan 20-30% kutipan zakat melalui skim potongan gaji, menyumbang RM500-600 juta dengan sasaran RM1.328 bilion tahun ini.

SHAH ALAM: Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) mencatatkan peningkatan ketara dalam kutipan zakat melalui skim potongan gaji yang kini menyumbang kira-kira RM500 juta hingga RM600 juta.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif LZS Mohd Khaidzir Shahari berkata keadaan ini menunjukkan kesedaran rakyat Selangor terhadap tanggungjawab membayar zakat semakin tinggi.

Peningkatan antara 20% hingga 30% direkodkan berbanding tahun lalu hasil kerjasama majikan yang membenarkan LZS menjalankan kempen secara langsung di syarikat.

“Kita kena faham, di Selangor, kita adalah penyumbang Keluaran Dalam Negeri Kasar (KDNK) paling tinggi di Malaysia, jadi tenaga kerja pun ramai,” katanya selepas merasmikan Karnival Zakat Selangor dan Pelancaran Kempen Impak Dirasa.

Beliau menambah kadang-kadang pekerja kilang yang tidak wajib membayar zakat tetap mahu menyumbang antara RM5 hingga RM10.

Mohd Khaidzir berkata LZS turut mencatat kemajuan dalam pembayaran zakat korporat walaupun hanya sekitar 20% syarikat kini berada pada landasan yang betul.

Sasaran kutipan zakat LZS untuk tahun ini ialah RM1.328 bilion.

Mengenai 60% penerima LZS yang bukan berasal dari Selangor, beliau menjelaskan ia hanya melibatkan sistem kod kelahiran seseorang.

Sistem LZS kini menilai kelayakan penerima berdasarkan tempoh bermastautin selama setahun berbanding lima tahun sebelum ini.

Mohd Khaidzir menyasarkan seramai 15,000 pengunjung menghadiri karnival tiga hari di Dewan Raja Muda Musa.

Karnival itu melibatkan lebih 150 pempamer daripada agensi kerajaan, swasta dan usahawan tempatan.

Pelancaran Kempen Impak Dirasa bertujuan mengajak masyarakat menunaikan zakat pada waktunya terutamanya menjelang penutup tahun.

Kempen berlangsung dari 1 Oktober hingga 31 Disember 2025 dengan mesej ‘Sentiasa Bersama, Sentiasa Menjaga’.

LZS turut mengaktifkan Kempen Khas ‘Rezeki Dikongsi-Impak Dirasa’ bermula 27 November hingga 31 Disember 2025.

Pembayar zakat dalam tempoh ini berpeluang memenangi hadiah termasuk pakej Umrah, motosikal Honda RS-X Winner dan baucar membeli-belah.

Empat syarikat menyerahkan zakat perniagaan kepada LZS semasa majlis pelancaran.

Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd menyumbang RM815,000 diikuti Kumpulan Semesta Sdn Bhd (RM494,812).

As-Salihin Trustee Berhad Hibah of Mohamed Yusuf @ Abdul Aziz Hashim menyumbang RM248,453 manakala Fly High Education Centre memberikan RM30,000. – Bernama
