Melaka tarik RM855.63 juta pelaburan baharu suku pertama 2025

MELAKA: Melaka berjaya menarik pelaburan baharu bernilai RM855.63 juta pada suku pertama 2025, merangkumi sektor pembuatan dan perkhidmatan. Ketua Menteri Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh menyatakan pencapaian ini membuktikan keyakinan pelabur terhadap kestabilan dan dasar pro-perniagaan negeri.

“Tahun 2024 menyaksikan Melaka melonjak ke hadapan sebagai destinasi pelaburan unggul apabila berjaya menarik pelaburan langsung asing dan pelaburan langsung domestik sebanyak RM8.18 bilion, jauh melepasi sasaran asal RM5 bilion,“ katanya semasa penggulungan sidang Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Melaka.

Pelaburan ini turut memberi manfaat kepada rakyat dengan kadar pengangguran menurun kepada 1.9 peratus pada suku pertama 2025 berbanding 2.2 peratus pada suku keempat 2024. Kadar ini lebih rendah berbanding purata nasional iaitu 3.1 peratus.

Tiga kawasan industri utama menjadi tunjang pembangunan pelaburan, termasuk MCORP Hi Tech Park (174.42 hektar), German Technology Park, dan Kawasan Perindustrian Elkay 2.0. Kerajaan negeri turut memperuntukkan 2,731.85 hektar sebagai zon tanah perindustrian untuk memacu pelaburan mampan.

Dari segi perdagangan, nilai eksport Melaka meningkat 44.8 peratus berbanding tempoh sama tahun lepas, mencatat RM17.45 bilion. Keluaran Dalam Negara Kasar (KDNK) 2024 menunjukkan pertumbuhan positif 4.4 peratus dengan sumbangan utama dari sektor perkhidmatan (51.4 peratus) dan pembuatan (35.9 peratus). – Bernama
