PETALING JAYA: Nearly 59,000 pensioners, Armed Forces veterans and surviving pension beneficiaries will receive an additional RM350 a month after the government raised the minimum monthly pension from RM1,000 to RM1,350.

Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced the 35% increase when tabling Budget 2027 in the Dewan Rakyat today.

“The minimum pension rate will be increased from RM1,000 to RM1,350 per month, benefiting nearly 59,000 pensioners, Armed Forces veterans and surviving pension beneficiaries,” he said.
