Polis Johor rampas dadah RM3.55 juta, tahan tiga individu

JOHOR BAHRU: Polis menahan tiga individu termasuk dua wanita Vietnam dan merampas dadah bernilai RM3.55 juta dalam operasi khas di Johor Bahru.

Serbuan dilakukan pada 10 dan 11 Julai melibatkan lima lokasi termasuk kondominium mewah dan rumah kedai.

Ketua Polis Johor Datuk M. Kumar berkata sindiket itu dipercayai aktif sejak April dan menggunakan premis berpagar serta berpenjaga untuk menyimpan dan memproses dadah sebelum diedarkan.

“Suspek lelaki ditahan di tepi jalan dengan sejumlah dadah, membawa kepada serbuan di lokasi lain termasuk bilik sewa dan tiga kondominium,“ katanya dalam sidang media di Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Johor.

Rampasan termasuk 20.7 kilogram pelbagai jenis dadah seperti ekstasi, ganja, ketamin, dan pil erimin 5.

Selain itu, polis turut merampas peralatan memproses dadah serta wang tunai RM800.

Ketiga-tiga suspek disahkan positif methamphetamine dan direman sehingga 17 Julai untuk siasatan lanjut di bawah Seksyen 39B Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952.

Dua wanita Vietnam turut disiasat di bawah Seksyen 6(3) Akta Imigresen 1959/63.

Kumar turut menyatakan peningkatan trend pengedaran bunga ganja di pasaran.
