Alif Satar shares a heartfelt story about a rare tenant who paid on time, cared for the home and left it spotless
MALAYSIAN actor and singer Alif Satar (pic) has warmed hearts online after sharing a touching story about a former tenant he described as a “tenant from heaven”.
In a post on Threads, Alif reminisced about the family who had rented one of his houses for several years without ever causing a single problem — a dream scenario for any homeowner.
“I have lost a tenant. A tenant from heaven. There was never any trouble throughout the years that one family rented the house. Every month, the rent was paid on time,” he wrote.
Alif also recalled being surprised when the tenant once transferred more than the agreed rental amount, only to find out that the tenant had voluntarily increased the rent without being asked.
“Today, he and his family moved back to their hometown. My parents told me the house was left in perfect condition, clean just like before. Thank you,” he added, ending the post with a prayer for the family’s wellbeing and success.
The heartfelt post struck a chord with netizens, many of whom shared their own positive experiences as landlords and tenants in the comments section.
One user, Ahmad Az, shared that his tenant had repainted his house at their own expense, leaving it looking beautiful.
Another commenter, @amysyuhada7, recounted her emotional experience renting a home in Langkawi between 2018 and 2020, praising her landlord’s exceptional kindness.
She recalled how they both broke down in tears on her final day and how the landlord even brought her medicine when she fell ill during pregnancy.
“I have never met anyone like that before. Only Allah can repay her kindness,” she wrote.
