Erra Fazira wows fans with romantic 12.12 ‘wedding of the year’

Fans celebrate Erra Fazira and Ezwan Zain’s stunning wedding, praising their bond, gifts and touching family moments

LOCKING in the special date 12.12, actress and singer Erra Fazira, 51, tied the knot with entrepreneur Ezwan Zain, 44, in what many Malaysians are calling the “wedding of the year.”

The renowned star and Kueh Café founder held their grand yet intimate ceremony at Rinjani Majestic, Kampung Melayu Subang, Shah Alam, this morning.

The couple made their entrance in matching baby blue wedding attire, escorted by their respective daughters — a moment that melted fans’ hearts as social media flooded with blessings for the newly united family.

A video showed Erra walking the aisle with her daughter before later holding both her daughter’s and Ezwan’s daughter’s hands as they moved towards the bridal dais.

A fan wrote, “I’m the one feeling emotional because from holding the hand of one daughter, suddenly it changed to holding the hands of two daughters.”

Another fan reminisced that Erra had been her favourite artist since childhood, saying the excitement felt the same as watching the star’s first wedding in 2007. This marks Erra’s third marriage.

“When we were little, we were so happy watching her marry Yusri. Now that we’re grown up, we’re just as happy watching her marry Mr Kueh instead,” she shared.

Some netizens even joked that witnessing Erra’s first and now third wedding made them feel old.

Fans were also amazed by the elaborate wedding gifts from the groom, including a 102g ufti bunga emas (golden flower tribute) and 24 pieces of dinar coins, estimated at around RM60,000 and RM62,000 respectively.

A user known as @njthebagempire praised Ezwan as a “green flag” after a clip showed him asking the photographer to retake a picture once he fixed Erra’s tudung.
