“I still love my wife” – KLIA shooter

KOTA BHARU: “I still love my wife,” said the 38-year-old suspect who allegedly fired two shots at the arrival hall of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 in Sepang on April 14.

According to Berita Harian, the suspect reportedly made the comment on the way to the Kota Bharu Magistrates’ Court.

He repeatedly expressed his love for his wife.

“Assalamualaikum, I still love my wife, Farah Md Isa, thank you,“ he was quoted as saying.

The suspect arrived wearing a lock-up shirt at 8.35am in the morning, escorted by the police.

On April 14, Hafizul had intended to shoot his wife, Farah Md Isa, but missed and shot her bodyguard Muhammad Nur Hadith, 38, at his abdominal area.

Hafizul fled the scene and but was caught by the police on Monday (April 15) in Kota Bharu, Kelantan and was issued a seven-day remand until April 22.
