Tourism Malaysia partners with 70 local and international brands for Visit Malaysia 2026, aiming for 47 million tourists and RM329 billion in receipts
KUALA LUMPUR: Tourism Malaysia has partnered with approximately 70 local and international brands to promote the upcoming Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.
Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said the collaboration aims to strengthen participation in boosting tourism awareness.
“We are not only working with international brands, but also with many local brands,” he told reporters after launching the Tourism Malaysia-Bask Bear Coffee partnership.
Tiong urged Malaysians to view VM2026 as a national initiative that transcends political, racial, and religious boundaries.
“Please don’t politicise this,” he said, adding that the campaign is about national economic growth and benefits for all people, including the B40 group and youth.
He stated that the ministry will unveil the full VM2026 programme and its distinguishing features next month.
“We are trying our best to make Visit Malaysia 2026 stand out from the previous ones,” Tiong added.
Bask Bear Coffee & Toasties announced a major sponsorship for VM2026, benefiting 100,000 foreign tourists and all Malaysians.
The brand will provide RM1.2 million worth of coffee to international visitors through a “Buy 1-Free 1” promotion featuring its Gula Aren series.
Malaysians can join the Bask Bear Club, enjoying a free Americano daily for RM29 per month, with early subscribers receiving an additional month free.
Founder and CEO of Loob Holding Sdn Bhd, Bryan Loo, said the partnership marks a milestone for the homegrown brand.
The initiative aligns with Tourism Malaysia’s goal of increasing international arrivals to 47 million and generating RM329 billion in tourism receipts for VM2026. – Bernama
