Bayi dua bulan maut disyaki ditindih ibu ketika tidur di Parit

IPOH: Seorang bayi berusia dua bulan meninggal dunia akibat lemas selepas disyaki ditindih ibunya sendiri dalam kejadian di Jalan Sungai Jejawi, Kampung Sungai Dua Kota Setia dekat Parit pada Khamis lepas.

Ketua Polis Daerah Perak Tengah Supt Hafezul Helmi Hamzah berkata pihaknya menerima laporan mengenai kejadian itu pada 18 September lepas, kira-kira 8.45 pagi.

Bayi berkenaan disahkan meninggal dunia di Hospital Seri Manjung sebelum mayatnya dibawa ke Unit Forensik Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun untuk dibedah siasat.

Hasil bedah siasat mendapati punca kematian adalah otak membengkak dan paru-paru sembap akibat ditindih.

Beliau berkata hasil siasatan di bawah Seksyen 33 Akta Kanak-Kanak 2001 mendapati bayi terbabit lemas semasa sedang tidur bersama suspek, yang juga ibu kepada bayi itu kerana telah ditindih sehingga lemas atas katil yang sama.

Tangkapan telah dibuat ke atas suspek, yang juga seorang wanita warga Indonesia.

Kertas siasatan telah dirujuk kepada Pejabat Timbalan Pendakwa Raya.

Suspek akan dituduh di Mahkamah Majistret Parit pada 22 September di bawah Seksyen 304A Kanun Keseksaan kerana menyebabkan kematian dengan cuai. – Bernama

The project involves supplying critical steel infrastructure and precision metal components for an advanced airflow management system, with the end user being one of the world’s largest cloud and e-commerce platforms. With this latest win, OXB’s total data centre-related contract value now stands at RM9.6 million, with completion expected by end-2026.
