Immigration authorities detained 46 Bangladeshi men for offences including overstaying and invalid documents during a Nilai factory operation
NILAI: The Malaysian Immigration Department detained 46 illegal immigrants during a raid on a factory here yesterday.
Seremban Immigration director Kennith Tan Ai Kiang said the four-hour operation, which began at 9am followed public complaints.
All those detained are Bangladeshi men aged between 18 and 43.
They were held for various immigration offences, including not possessing valid passes or travel documents and overstaying.
The detainees have been taken to the Lenggeng Immigration Depot for further action. – Bernama
