Police arrested a 48-year-old man for allegedly sexually harassing three 16-year-old students in their Kuala Kubu Bharu dormitory beds.

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested a man suspected of sexually harassing three female students at a school dormitory in Kuala Kubu Bharu.

Hulu Selangor police chief Supt Ibrahim Husin said the arrest followed three reports received from the teenage victims at 4.16 pm yesterday.

“From our investigation, the suspect sexually harassed the three 16-year-old teenagers while they were asleep in their dormitory beds,” he said in a statement today.

Ibrahim confirmed the 48-year-old man was arrested on the same day the reports were filed.

A background check revealed the suspect had no prior criminal record.

Police will apply for a remand order against the suspect today.

The case is being investigated under Section 14 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
