The Youth and Sports Ministry pledges to enhance youth well-being and sports culture while aligning with the Prime Minister’s call for stronger governance and integrity.
PUTRAJAYA: The Ministry of Youth and Sports will intensify its national agenda through policies focusing on youth welfare and a sustainable sports industry.
This commitment follows Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s address stressing stronger governance and integrity within the civil service.
The ministry fully supports the Prime Minister’s focus on empowering Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
It will enhance the role of its institutions in providing industry-relevant skills training and career pathways in sports and entrepreneurship.
KBS also backs the implementation of targeted government aid like Sumbangan Asas Rahmah and Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah.
These measures aim to ease the cost-of-living burden for low-income youth groups.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to instilling values of professionalism and accountability among its personnel.
This aligns with the MADANI government’s goal of building a progressive and people-centred nation.
“KBS remains committed to working closely with all agencies and strategic partners,” the ministry added.
The collaboration is to realise its vision for the benefit of youth, athletes and all Malaysians.
