Pahang MB Wan Rosdy announces nationwide entrepreneur tour starting December to collect direct feedback for MSME policy development.
KUANTAN: A nationwide entrepreneur tour will commence this December to gather direct feedback on challenges faced by business owners.
Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said the initiative follows his appointment as special advisor to the National Entrepreneur and MSME Development Council.
“This tour is among our new approaches to ensure that the voices of entrepreneurs at the grassroots level can be heard directly, without going through intermediaries,” he told reporters after presenting the Pahang Entrepreneur Awards.
The tour will begin with visits to Kedah and Perlis before expanding to other states including Pahang.
Wan Rosdy said the programme will be implemented in stages and involve various entrepreneur categories including MSMEs.
The collected feedback will be used to strengthen government policies and strategies for entrepreneurial sector development.
He also congratulated 12 state entrepreneurs who received awards during the ceremony.
Their achievements could inspire other entrepreneurs to improve product and service quality.
“For those who have not succeeded, do not lose hope,” Wan Rosdy added.
He emphasized that continuous improvement in service and product quality remains most important. – Bernama
