Pahang government provides RM1.05 million in school supplies to 21,026 SPM students through the expanded Tunas Makmur Programme.
KUANTAN: The Pahang government is expanding its 2025 Tunas Makmur Programme with RM1.05 million worth of school supplies for 21,026 SPM candidates.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said stationery sets will be distributed starting next week through the Pahang Social Action Council.
Distribution will be coordinated with the State Education Department and relevant agencies to ensure efficient delivery to all eligible recipients statewide.
Wan Rosdy noted SPM students previously received a Student Discount Card offering up to 30% discounts, free reference and exercise books, and supplies for Form Five students from hardcore poor families.
“These initiatives reflect the state government’s concern and continued commitment to education and the academic success of Pahang’s students,” he stated.
He added that with sustained commitment and cooperation in advancing education, Pahang is positioned to progress as a progressive and intellectually driven state. – Bernama
